Infrastructure

The Chechersk district was founded on December 8, 1926, and is located in the north of the Gomel region. The district area is 1.23 thousand square kilometers.

Highways of national importance pass through the territory of the district:

 P-30 Gomel - Vetka - Chechersk - Yamnoye;
 P-38 Buda-Koshelevo - Chechersk - Krasnopolye.

Electricity supply in the Chechersk district is provided by the Zhlobin power grid branch of Gomelenergo Republic Unitary Enterprise. Gas supply in the district territory is provided by the Chechersk district Gas Supply of Rogachevgaz Production Administration.

Telecommunication services in the Chechersk district are provided by the district telecommunication hub of the Gomel branch of the BELTELECOM Republican Unitary Telecommunication Enterprise.
